(G)I-DLE's Minnie Tops Ktown4u Weekly Chart Ahead of Solo Debut

(By Hyunsook Kim, MHN Sports) Minnie of (G)I-DLE has proven her immense popularity even before her solo debut, securing the No. 1 spot on the Ktown4u weekly chart.

Ktown4u, a global fandom-driven entertainment platform, released its weekly album sales chart for the period from January 6 to January 12. Minnie’s first solo mini-album, 'HER' claimed the top spot with 15,239 copies sold during this period.

(G)I-DLE’s seventh mini-album, 'I SWAY' which ranked first the previous week, sold 5,739 copies to take the No. 2 spot, demonstrating the group's consistent popularity.

Minnie is set to become the fourth member of (G)I-DLE to make a solo debut, following Miyeon, Soyeon, and Yuqi. This solo venture comes approximately seven years after her debut with the group.

Minnie's mini-album 'HER' features seven tracks, including the title song of the same name, the pre-release track 'Blind Eyes Red' and collaborations like 'Drive U Crazy' featuring fellow (G)I-DLE member Yuqi, and 'Obsession' featuring Ten of WayV. Other tracks include 'Cherry Sky' 'Valentine’s Dream' and 'It’s Okay' Impressively, Minnie participated in writing and composing all the tracks, adding a personal touch to her debut project.

Minnie's first mini-album 'HER' will be available on digital platforms at 6 PM(KST) on January 21, with the physical album release scheduled for January 22.
