WayV Dominates Ktown4u Weekly Chart Following Mini Album Comeback
(By Esther Jeong, MHN Sports) WayV, the popular sub-unit of NCT, has maintained its impressive momentum following their November comeback, securing the top spot on Ktown4u's weekly album sales chart.
According to Ktown4u, a global entertainment platform catering to fans worldwide, WayV's 6th mini album FREQUENCY (Photobook version) sold an impressive 5,379 copies between December 16 and December 22, claiming first place for the week.
The group made their long-awaited return on November 25 at 6 PM KST with the release of FREQUENCY, marking their first comeback in five months. The mini album features six tracks showcasing a variety of musical styles, including the title track "FREQUENCY" in both Korean and Chinese, as well as "HIGH FIVE," "TWIST," "Filthy Rich," and "Call Me."
The title track, an old-school hip-hop dance song, combines heavy bass and powerful drum beats. Its lyrics carry an uplifting message: "Let's tune into our frequency and explore a new dimension."
WayV's continued success on global charts highlights their strong international fanbase and the ongoing enthusiasm for their latest release.
